(4) Americans are clearly not abiding by these minimum recommendations, as the numbers prove. (5) It is necessary for Americans to get more exercise in order to lead a healthy life. (6) There is no good reason for healthy people not to exercise but the there are many benefits including maintaining a healthy weight, relieving everyday stress and lowering one’s chances for certain diseases.
