Read the passage and answer the question.

I never thought it would happen to me. Nevertheless, it did! I saw a UFO!

I read lots and lots of books about UFOs, but my parents told me there was no such thing as aliens. Then, late one night when I was reading a UFO book in my room, I saw a bright light outside. I looked out of the window and saw a big circle with ten lights. A door opened, and a little green man came out.

"Greetings!" he said to me. "I come in peace."

"You...you..you're real!!" I exclaimed.

"Of course, I am," said the alien. "I'd like to ask you a favor. Do you have a sweatshirt I can borrow? It's very cold in my spaceship."

"Here," I said, handing him my favorite blue hoodie.

"Thank you," he said. "Here's a thank you gift. It's a piece of my planet."

The alien handed me a bright orange rock.

The spaceship flew off into the sky. The next morning when I told my mother what happened, she wouldn't believe me.
