GO BACK

It was a beautiful day outside, and a group of children were playing in the yard of one boy's house. They noticed a bees' nest up on the roof, so they started throwing rocks, sticks, and other items trying to knock it down. The nest moved a little, but it didn't fall to the ground. Instead, hundreds of bees flew out going everywhere.

Robert turned and ran away as fast as he could. “Get down! Get down!” he could hear Louise screaming. Robert dove to the ground as many bees flew over him. He could hear all the other kids doing the same.

The bees' nest was still hanging. John looked around the yard for something really long to use. He noticed his dad's rake sitting by the porch. So, he took the rake and ran over to the porch. He swung it as hard as he could, hitting the nest. The nest was dislodged, went flying through the air, and landed near Robert. With a shriek, Robert jumped to his feet and ran to the other side of the yard. The others were also yelping and trying to run away.

Which of the following best describes John?
