Read the following passages and answer the question.

Madison Elementary

Madison Elementary has adopted a new uniform policy for students. The students are not happy about the policy. They decided to get together to write a letter to the school board to explain their feelings about uniforms. Each grade appointed one student to present the letter as a group to the school board at their next meeting. The school board listened to the group of students and told them that they would discuss it. The board members talked over the student's concerns and decided to get rid of the new policy. The students would not have to wear uniforms after all.

Jefferson Elementary

The Jefferson Elementary school board has written a new policy about school snacks. The board decided that students would no longer be able to bring snacks from home. The school would give the students healthy snacks such as fruits and vegetables instead. The students were not pleased with the new policy. They complained to their parents, their teachers, and the principal. Their parents, teachers, and principal all were in favor of the healthy snacks. So the students at Jefferson Elementary were stuck with the healthy snacks.
