Remo was a fifth-grader. He was known as "the problem solver". One day, his neighbor’s dog was acting unusually aggressive. Remo figured out that the dog was acting that way because he had a thorn in his foot.

Discuss the times when you solved problems involving a friend, family member, or someone close to you. Describe what the problems were and explain how you resolved them. What are the first steps you take when you encounter a problem? What are the qualities a good problem solver should have?
