Read the paragraph and write a concluding statement that summarizes the argument being made.

South Dakota is building a giant stone monument to the chief of the Oglala Sioux named Crazy Horse. He has also been honored with a U.S. postage stamp. Crazy Horse was a leader in the resistance to white encroachment into Indian Territory. When his people refused to go to a reservation in 1876, they were attacked at Powder River, where Crazy Horse led them to victory against the U.S. Cavalry. In the same year, he defeated General Crook on the Rosebud River and joined Sitting Bull and Gall in defeating General Custer at the battle of Little Big Horn.
